Trending: Fall Wedding Dresses

When you think about your wedding, what is the most important feature to you? Many brides will say the wedding gown is the centerpiece to the entire day and they want something that’s beautiful, but also fashion forward. During the bridal fashion week this spring, there were a few styles and trends that continued to pop up between designers. Here are some of the top wedding dress trends for Fall 2013:

blushweddingdress

Blush wedding dresses are a gorgeous choice when you want to step away from the traditional white or ivory gowns. Dresses in a light hue, such as peach, blush or even champagne, flatter many skin tones and complements vintage and contemporary weddings.

lace sleeves

Ever since the world watched Catherine Middleton marry her prince in a stunning, lace-sleeved gown, the trend has been coming back for more. Lace sleeves add an elegant, romantic style and works perfectly for a fall wedding. Brides looking for subtle coverage will love the lace detail in many of these gowns.

illusion top

The illusion top was seen on many wedding gowns this year and it’s gorgeous! Lace and tulle enhance the neckline and can easily take the place of an accessory. The illusion neckline has been on trend for the last few seasons and continues to be a top choice for brides!

minimalist dress

Some brides prefer to wear a wedding gown with a simple, classic silhouette and they are in luck! Minimalist dresses are a popular trend this fall — this tailored look accentuates the beauty of the bride. A minimalist dress is perfect to showcase that statement accessory, ribbon accent, or other jeweled piece, such as a belt or sash.
